Is TicketNetwork Legit? How Checkout & the Guarantee Work
By the TheTicketers editorial team · Updated November 2026
Short answer: yes. TicketNetwork is a real ticket resale marketplace, and TheTicketers uses its checkout for every order on this site. You pick your seats on our seat map, pay on an encrypted checkout, see every mandatory fee before you pay, and every order is backed by the 100% Buyer Guarantee: valid tickets, delivered in time for the event, or a replacement or refund.
What TicketNetwork is
TicketNetwork is a resale ticket marketplace. Besides its own storefront, it runs a white-label checkout that partner websites use to sell tickets from its network of sellers. TheTicketers is one of those partner sites. The listings, live prices and seat availability you see here come from that verified network of sellers, and the checkout that processes your payment is the same TicketNetwork checkout, shown inside our site.
That also explains how we earn money. The site is free to use, we don't add a markup of our own, and the service fee is added by the ticketing network. Our pricing and how-it-works page sets this out in full.
How an order works on TheTicketers
- Find your event. Search or browse upcoming events and open the event page for the date and venue you want.
- Pick seats on the seat map. The interactive seat map shows the live ticket listings for that event. You can review the seats, the full price and the delivery method before you confirm.
- Pay on the TicketNetwork checkout. Your full all-in total appears on the seat-map screen before you enter any payment details. Payment is handled on an encrypted, PCI-compliant checkout.
- Receive your tickets. Tickets are delivered electronically, with the method and timing for your order shown at checkout.
What the Buyer Guarantee covers
Every order placed through our checkout is protected by the 100% Buyer Guarantee, the same guarantee shown on the seat-map checkout when you buy. It promises:
- Valid tickets. Your tickets will be authentic and valid for entry.
- On-time delivery. Your tickets will arrive in time for the event, with the delivery method and timing shown before you pay.
- Comparable or better. You'll get the tickets you ordered, or tickets of equal or greater value.
- Refund if cancelled. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you're eligible for a refund of the ticket price.
If a covered problem occurs, you're entitled to a replacement or a full refund. The full guarantee terms shown at checkout govern each purchase; the Buyer Guarantee page summarises them.
Why prices can be above or below face value
TicketNetwork is a resale marketplace, not a primary box office. Independent sellers set their own prices, so a seat can cost more than face value when demand is high, or less when a show isn't selling. Listing prices are shown before fees; the service fee is added by the ticketing network, and all mandatory fees are shown before you pay. Read how ticket resale works and our guide to ticket prices and fees for the details, or browse cheap tickets if budget comes first.
Delivery types and when tickets arrive
Tickets are delivered electronically, and the delivery method for your order is shown at checkout before you pay. The common types are:
- Mobile transfer. The tickets are sent to your own account in the venue's or team's ticketing app, and you show them on your phone at the gate.
- E-ticket. A ticket file or link arrives by email, ready to print or show on your phone.
- Will-call. If an order is listed as will-call, you collect the tickets at the venue box office, usually with photo ID.
Most tickets arrive by email or mobile transfer instantly after purchase. Some arrive closer to the event, and the Buyer Guarantee ensures they reach you in time for the event.
Red flags of a fake site, and how to check you're on the real checkout
- Someone asks for card details by email, phone or DM. TheTicketers never asks for card details over email or phone. Payment only happens on the checkout page.
- A seller wants an e-transfer, wire or gift card. A real checkout takes a card payment through the site, not a direct transfer to a person.
- You reached the "checkout" from an ad, text or social post. Start from an event page on TheTicketers and open the seat map from there, so you know which checkout you are on.
- The total keeps changing or fees appear after you pay. On our checkout your full all-in total is shown on the seat-map screen before you enter any payment details.
- A deal is far too cheap for a sold-out show. Very low prices with pressure to pay right now are a classic scam sign.
If your event is cancelled or postponed
If an event is cancelled outright and not rescheduled, you're eligible for a refund of the amount you paid for the tickets under the Buyer Guarantee, processed back to your original payment method. For most rescheduled events your tickets stay valid for the new date and you don't need to do anything. Policies can vary by event and venue, so check the latest event information or contact support if you can't attend the new date. All of our policy documents are listed on the policies page.
