Editorial & Listings Policy
This page explains how TheTicketersproduces and maintains the listings, prices and guidance you see across the site. We aim to be useful and honest: the standards below are the commitments we hold ourselves to, and they describe how the site actually works rather than how we'd like it to look.
How listings and inventory are sourced
Our event listings and ticket inventory come live from our verified ticket marketplace, which aggregates listings from a large network of independent sellers and professional brokers. We don't hold our own ticket stock and we don't hand-write event pages from memory: when you view an event, the available seats, quantities and prices are pulled from the marketplace at that moment. That's why availability can change between visits — it reflects what is genuinely for sale right now.
Prices are live and set by sellers
The prices you see are live and are set by the individual sellers who own the tickets, not by TheTicketers. Because resale pricing follows supply and demand, the same seat can cost different amounts on different days, and prices may sit above or below the original face value. We don't fabricate, round or "anchor" prices to make a deal look better than it is — what we show is what the marketplace reports. To understand the mechanics in more detail, see our guide to how event ticket resale works.
How the site is organized
We organize listings to make a large, fast-moving catalogue easy to navigate:
- By event, with each performance shown by date, venue and city.
- By artist or team, venue, city and category, so you can browse from whatever angle you're searching.
- With plain-English buying guides that explain resale, seat maps and safe purchasing — written to inform, not to push a sale.
Editorial guidance is kept evergreen and accurate. Where we describe how something works (fees, seat types, delivery, refunds), we aim to reflect how the marketplace and its buyer guarantee actually operate.
Our commitment to accuracy and secure checkout
- Live prices and availability — never stale, padded or fabricated.
- Clear, all-in pricing wherever possible, with any additional charges itemised before you pay.
- Secure checkout, where payment and ticket delivery are protected by our 100% Buyer Guarantee.
- Evergreen, neutral guidance that we correct when something changes or when we get it wrong.
How the site is funded
TheTicketersis a ticket marketplace and the site is free to use. The price you see is the price you pay — we don't add a markup of our own on top of the seller's price, and every mandatory fee is shown before checkout. How the site is funded never changes the facts in our guides or the live prices on a listing.
How to report an issue
