Philadelphia's live scene mirrors its sports fans: loud, loyal and proud. The city's teams inspire some of the most passionate crowds in American sport, and that same energy carries into its arena concerts and the historic theatres along its old performance district, where touring Broadway and classical music share the calendar.

Big rivalry games and hometown-defining matchups are the market's premium — they hold value to the last seat. The value hunter's route is weeknight games, mid-week theatre, and the city's excellent mid-size music rooms, where the atmosphere regularly outperforms the ticket price.
