Preakness Stakes Tickets & Schedule

How much are Preakness Stakes tickets?

Preakness Stakes tickets currently start from $184 — the lowest price listed on this schedule. Prices vary by opponent, venue and seat location, and they move in real time with demand, so the same seat can cost more closer to the game than it does today.

How do I find cheap Preakness Stakes tickets?

The cheapest Preakness Stakes ticket on sale right now is $184 for Preakness Stakes on Sun, May 23. A few things reliably bring the price down:

• Compare the dates on the schedule — weeknight games and less-hyped opponents often price lower than weekend rivalry games.
• Look at upper-tier seats against the lower bowl — the view is frequently better than the price suggests.
• Buy as a smaller group; pairs and singles are easier to fill than blocks of four or more.
• Check back as the date approaches — resale prices can drop in the final days when sellers adjust inventory.

Is it better to buy Preakness Stakes tickets in advance or last minute?

Buying in advance gives you the widest choice of sections and makes it easier to seat a group together, and marquee opponents tend to climb as they sell down. Last-minute can bring real deals when sellers cut prices to clear seats, but popular games can also sell out — if you need specific seats, book early; if you are flexible, watching prices in the final week can pay off.

Will Preakness Stakes tickets bought together be seated together?

Yes, unless the listing explicitly says otherwise. Seats within a single listing are sold as a block, so buying two or four in one transaction keeps them together.

• Seat numbers occasionally look non-sequential (odd/even) while still being physically adjacent — that is normal in many venues.
• If a listing splits across an aisle or a row, the seller states it in the listing notes.
• To be certain, buy your full quantity in one listing rather than combining two separate ones.
