Opening Ceremony Tickets & Schedule

How much are Opening Ceremony tickets?

Opening Ceremony tickets currently start from $1,642 — the lowest price listed on this schedule. Prices vary by opponent, venue and seat location, and they move in real time with demand, so the same seat can cost more closer to the game than it does today.

How do I find cheap Opening Ceremony tickets?

The cheapest Opening Ceremony ticket on sale right now is $1,642 for LA28 Summer Games: Opening Celebration - CER01B on Fri, Jul 14 at 5:00 PM. A few things reliably bring the price down:

• Compare the dates on the schedule — weekday games and less-hyped opponents consistently price lower than weekend rivalry games.
• Look at upper-tier seats against the lower bowl — the view is frequently better than the price suggests.
• Buy as a smaller group; pairs and singles are easier to fill than blocks of four or more.
• Check back as the date approaches — resale prices can drop in the final days when sellers adjust inventory.

Is it better to buy Opening Ceremony tickets in advance or last minute?

Buying in advance gives you the widest choice of sections and makes it easier to seat a group together, and marquee opponents tend to climb as they sell down. Last-minute can bring real deals when sellers cut prices to clear seats, but popular games can also sell out — if you need specific seats, book early; if you are flexible, watching prices in the final week can pay off.

Will Opening Ceremony tickets bought together be seated together?

Yes, unless the listing explicitly says otherwise. Seats within a single listing are sold as a block, so buying two or four in one transaction keeps them together.

• Seat numbers occasionally look non-sequential (odd/even) while still being physically adjacent — that is normal in many venues.
• If a listing splits across an aisle or a row, the seller states it in the listing notes.
• To be certain, buy your full quantity in one listing rather than combining two separate ones.
