Things to Do in Portland

Portland is a city where live music and independent culture thrive in an intimate, accessible setting. The Moda Center is the largest venue in the city, home to the Trail Blazers and a stop for major concert tours, seating around 19,400 for basketball and up to 20,000 for events. The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, known as The Schnitz, presents the Oregon Symphony, touring speakers, and special events in a gorgeous 1928 movie palace. Summers are dry and warm, making June through September the best time for outdoor events, while the rainy fall and winter months keep the indoor venues buzzing.
