About La Perle
La Perle is Dubai's resident spectacular — a permanently installed aquatic theatre show directed by Franco Dragone (creative force behind several Cirque du Soleil productions). Performed in a purpose-built 1,300-seat theatre at Al Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road, the show features a cast of 65 artists performing aerial acrobatics, high dives from 25 metres, synchronized swimming, and motorcycle stunts, all around and above a stage that transforms into a pool filled with 2.7 million litres of water in seconds. The show tells a pearl-diving story rooted in the UAE's maritime heritage but reimagined with spectacular visual effects — rain curtains, holographic projections, aquatic fountains, and real pyrotechnics firing within metres of the audience. At 90 minutes without intermission, the pace is relentless. The closest seats (Silver, first 6 rows) are in the designated 'splash zone' where water from the pool reaches the audience during dive sequences — an intentional feature that adds to the immersion.

Tips for Visiting La Perle
Silver (front rows) seats are in the splash zone — you will get wet. It's part of the experience but wear accordingly or choose Gold/VIP seats if you prefer to stay dry.
The show is performed without dialogue — it's purely visual and musical, making it accessible regardless of language.
Arrive 20 minutes early to enjoy the pre-show atmospheric effects and secure your seat without rushing.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday shows are the least crowded. Weekend shows (Friday-Saturday) often sell out.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do La Perle tickets cost?
Silver seats (splash zone): AED 250-300. Gold seats (prime viewing, no splash): AED 400-500. VIP seats (best angles, lounge access): AED 700-1,000. Children over 2 require a ticket. Shows run Tuesday through Saturday at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Booking 1-2 weeks ahead secures better seat selection.
Is La Perle suitable for young children?
Children aged 5 and over generally love the visual spectacle — the acrobatics, water effects, and motorcycles are thrilling. Children under 5 may be frightened by the loud sound effects, pyrotechnics, and sudden water flooding. No children under 2 are admitted. Recommended minimum age is 5-6 years.
How does La Perle compare to Cirque du Soleil?
La Perle is directed by Franco Dragone who created several landmark Cirque shows. The production quality, acrobatic skill, and artistic direction are comparable. The key difference is the aquatic element — the flooding stage, high dives, and water integration are more dramatic than most Cirque shows. It's a permanently installed show (not touring), so the theatre is custom-built for the performance.
