About Burj Khalifa At the Top
The Burj Khalifa At the Top experience takes you to levels 124 and 125 of the world's tallest building — 452 metres above ground — via a high-speed elevator travelling at 10 metres per second. In just 60 seconds you ascend from the grand marble lobby to an observation deck offering unobstructed 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline, the Arabian Gulf, and the desert stretching toward Abu Dhabi. Level 124 features an outdoor terrace (the only open-air observation point on the Burj Khalifa) and electronic telescopes that overlay information about landmarks in your field of view. Level 125, one floor up, is fully enclosed with floor-to-ceiling glass and a more relaxed atmosphere. Both levels provide views of the Dubai Fountain directly below — watching the evening show from 452 metres above is a unique perspective no other attraction in the city offers.

Download the Burj Khalifa app before visiting for augmented reality features on the observation deck.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long can I stay at the top of Burj Khalifa?
There is no time limit on levels 124-125. Most visitors spend 45-90 minutes. However, during peak hours, staff may gently encourage movement if the deck reaches capacity. Early morning and late evening visitors can stay as long as they wish.
Can I see the Dubai Fountain from the observation deck?
Yes, the Dubai Fountain performs directly below the Burj Khalifa in the lake at its base. Evening shows run every 30 minutes from 6 PM. Viewing from above offers a unique bird's-eye perspective, though the water patterns are more impressive from lake level.
What happens if visibility is poor on my visit day?
On hazy days (common in summer), views are reduced to 5-10 km rather than the usual 30+ km. Tickets are non-refundable for haze conditions. For clearest visibility, book between October and March when humidity is lowest. The outdoor terrace may close temporarily in strong wind.
